Mondelez International last year sustainably sourced 10 percent of cocoa, 56 percent of coffee and 44 percent of West European biscuits, according to the company’s first well-being progress report.
The global snack-food giant also established third-party verification for its Cocoa Life program that will measure its impact on farmers and their communities.
The company yesterday issued its first report highlighting its progress against its global well-being goals. The report details steps Mondelez International has made to meet well-being metrics in the areas of mindful snacking, sustainability, communities and safety.
