Share Your Environmental Insider Knowledge

Posted

Environmental Leader invites you to share a quote about the result of a sustainability initiative, environmental or energy management lesson or other insight you gained in 2010 for our Insider Knowledge Report - the top reference for Environmental, Sustainability and Energy Managers.

The best lessons we receive will be used in the report - which will be distributed in January 2011 - for free to Environmental Leader readers.

The report will be indexed by author's name, and by the company the author works for. A company URL can also be included. If you prefer to submit anonymously, that's fine too.

The deadline for providing quotes is December 31, 2010.

FAQ:

How long does it need to be?

Your story can be as short as a few sentences or as long as you like.

What kinds of stories?

Your story must be based on a real-life experience. Think along the lines of: here's what we did, here's how we did it and here are the results.

Stories that share metrics, before-and-after measurements and ROI are most useful.

Do not submit case studies or press releases as these will not be used.

What are good subjects?

- A test or implementation that worked better (or worse) than anticipated.

- Lessons learned about specific tactics, such as onsite generation, building retrofits, sustainable supply chain initiatives, emission prevention, water conservation, etc.

- Workplace stories - such as hiring, budgeting, green team activities, auditing & reporting, office politics, etc.

- Topics we're interested in are the same ones we write about, including facilities, emissions, green power, transportation, green marketing, green IT, carbon finance, lighting, manufacturing, work place, supply chain, paper and packaging, auditing and reporting, water, energy efficiency, waste and recycling, etc.

Thank you - we look forward to hearing what you've learned.
