Earth Friendly Products is launching a new line of environmentally friend commercial line cleaning products, ECOS Pro. The line has more than 70 formulas for specific commercial cleaning applications, replacing “toxic, unhealthy cleaning products at the end-user level,” the company says.
The ECOS Pro line of plant-powered cleaners are non-toxic, readily biodegradable, and free of synthetic dyes, petrochemicals and phosphates. Many are certified EPA Safer Choice and USDA Certified Biobased products.
Earth Friendly Products is the maker of ECOS Laundry Detergent and more than 200 other environmentally friendly products. The company manufactures its products at carbon neutral, water neutral and Zero Waste Platinum certified facilities.
The Earth Friendly Products ECOS Pro line is geared toward use in markets including food service, hospitality, manufacturing, office supply, schools, and transportation, the company says.
The cleaning industry is getting more and more focused on sustainability, wrote Stephen Ashkin, founder of The Ashkin Group and Sustainability Dashboard Tools, LLC, on Environmental Leader last month. “Not only are cleaning-related organizations selecting products and adopting cleaning procedures that ensure natural resources are used wisely and efficiently, but they are also examining their own business operations, looking for ways they can treat their workers fairly; provide benefits and living wages; and also help give back to their communities.”
