Urjanet-Logo-no-BEDPower TakeOff, a provider of interval energy data monitoring, analysis and reporting, will use Urjanet data, sourced from over 1,400 utilities worldwide, to expand its service offerings and simplify utility data acquisition.

According to Power TakeOff, with over 47,000 utility rate structures in the United States and thousands of bill formats, it's a challenge for customers to collect the data they need to evaluate and rank their facilities by energy savings potential. Now, Power TakeOff’s software will be fueled with Urjanet’s automated utility data feed.

Power TakeOff’s cloud-based platform captures interval energy and KPI data and extracts insights into dashboards, alerts and reports. With Urjanet’s utility data, Power TakeOff customers can advance from basic to strategic energy management, say the partners.

Sanjoy Malik, CEO of Urjanet, told Energy Manager Today last year, “For many businesses, the process of obtaining energy data is costly and inefficient involving the manual entry of data from paper utility bills into their applications, such as the the EPA’s Energy Star Portfolio Manager. In several markets, such as Texas and Florida, the utilities have made an effort to better accommodate multi-tenant and multi-site properties with their energy data needs, but from a national perspective, we still have a ways to go.”
