PG&E, the Transamerica Pyramid Center and Integrated Energy Management

Posted

The Transamerica Pyramid Center in San Francisco, CA has worked closely with PG&E to identify and receive incentives to both reduce energy consumed by their buildings by updating lighting and HVAC equipment and to install a co-generation system that provides about 70 percent of the building's electricity, as well as all its space heating and hot water needs. In addition the Transamerica Pyramid Center participates in a Demand Response program, shedding load on days when electricity usage is high across the state.
