Visual computing firm NVIDIA is to use energy management software by Hara to track, verify and manage its energy usage and emissions.
As an IT company, NVDIA's main objectives for the product are to reduce its data center power usage and emissions from its non-data center space.
The Hara product will give NVIDIA access to management of distributed energy and resource activities through one centralized system, Hara says.
NVIDIA just ranked tenth on Newsweek’s 2011 Green Rankings of the 500 biggest companies in America. IBM, Hewlett-Packard and Sprint Nextel took the top three spots.
