The National Park Service has awarded a five-year, $50 million contract to the Michael Baker International/AMEC team to provide technical environmental support services for the National Park Service’s Park Facility Management Division and Environmental Management Systems program.
The contract includes all seven regions of the National Park Service.
This contract’s primary focus is the Environmental Management Systems program, which is the cornerstone for environmentally sound and sustainable operations at all properties operated by the National Park Service.
Michael Baker International has worked extensively in the National Park Service’s inter-mountain region, providing environmental services associated with hazardous materials, land development, tanks, asbestos and lead paint. With this new contract, the company now has a contract to address similar issues at National Park Service properties across the nation.
