Pharmaceutical and chemical company Merck has chosen CRedit360’s software to help improve the consistency of its global sustainability data management and reporting.
The German based company, which employs around 39,000 people in 66 countries, will use the CRedit360 system to track environmental, energy and health and safety data across its four major divisions, replacing several existing software solutions that do no longer fulfill Merck’s requirements.
CRedit360’s integrated management software will capture and centralize group sustainability data, eliminating error-prone manual data transfers and improving data integrity, the company says.
CRedit360 won the business after demonstrating that its system would fulfill Merck’s criteria on a functional and a technical level. This includes versatility, ease-of-use, ability to capture data at invoice level, reporting at different organizational levels, improving efficiency and providing an audit trail.
Last week UK energy company Centrica chose CRedit360 to provide software for its global health, safety, environment and security platform. Using CRedit360 will enable Centrica to centralize its incident management and environmental performance reporting as well as manage its audits and inspections program within one integrated performance management system, the company said.
