Johnson Controls: Interest, Investment in Energy Efficiency Up

Johnson Controls energy manageJohnson Controls’ Energy Efficiency Indicator revealed great interest in energy efficiency investment, according to the company.

Responses from more than 1,200 facility and energy management executives in United States, Brazil, China, Germany and India revealed what the company called an all time high in investment in energy efficiency.

Half of respondents said that their organizations are paying more attention to energy efficiency than a year ago. Seventy-two percent said that they anticipate increased investment in energy efficiency and renewable energy during the next year. That it far more than in 2013 -- the comparison offered in the press release -- when 37 percent said they were paying more attention to energy efficiency and 42 percent planned to increase investment, the press release said.
