FlexEnergy recently commissioned multiple 250 KW gas turbine generators using its hot water cogeneration module for a combined heat and power (CHP) application in a newly constructed, high-end residential complex in Seoul, South Korea. The turbines successfully passed Korea Electrical Safety Corporation qualification standards testing prior to commissioning, and the site is now fully operational.
Continuously operating in parallel with the grid, FlexEnergy’s turbines supply the bulk of the complex’s electricity demand and supplement hot water boilers with built-in waste heat recovery modules. FlexEnergy offers an integrated hot water cogeneration module.
The turbines operate on natural gas – a readily available, low cost resource in Seoul.
