Environmental Executive Moves: ERI, Ameresco, Plug Power, RRS, SiteHawk

Electronic Recyclers International: The e-waste recycler has named Allen Hershkowitz, Ph.D., senior sustainability advisor. Hershkowitz is co-founder and current president of the Green Sports Alliance.

Ameresco: The energy efficiency and renewable energy company has named Mark Wilhelm (pictured) corporate director of sustainability and climate neutrality initiatives. In 2013, he joined Ameresco as the director, climate neutrality initiatives.

Plug Power: The clean energy company has hired Tim Cortes as vice president of hydrogen. Cortes comes to Plug Power from Smiths Power where he served as chief technology officer and vice president of engineering. Additionally, Jose Luis Crespo has been promoted to vice president of global sales, a new position for the company. Crespo joined Plug Power in January of 2014 to lead international sales and business development activity.

RRS: The sustainability and recycling consultancy has appointed Michael Timpane affiliate vice president. Timpane comes to RRS from Waste Management, where he served as director of municipal recycling and diversion.

SiteHawk: The chemical data management and compliance company has appointed Kimberley Williams chief marketing officer. Williams joins SiteHawk from Informatica where she most recently held the position of chief strategist.

Leidos Engineering: The science and technology company has hired Paul Baginski as the deputy operations manager for the company’s Environmental Science and Engineering Operation. Most recently Baginski was a co-founder of LineTEC.

Ecologic Brands: The designer and manufacturer of paper bottles has appointed Sarah Bird chief commercial officer and Bruce McKay vice president of sales. Most recently Bird was CMO at Annie’s, maker of organic and natural foods.

Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education: The advocacy organization has appointed Meghan Fay Zahniser executive director. Zahniser has spent six years with AASHE spanning roles as the director of programs and STARS program manager.

Conservation Law Foundation: The environmental advocacy organization has named Greg Cunningham vice president and director of the Clean Energy and Climate Change Program. Cunningham, a senior attorney with CLF for more than seven years, has served as the interim director of the Clean Energy and Climate Change Program for the past three months.
