Procter & Gamble: Three new members have joined the personal care company’s U.S. Sustainability Expert Advisory Panel. They are Caroline Hermans, commitments senior manager at the Clinton Global Initiative; Howard Frumkin (pictured), dean at the School of Public Health at the University of Washington; and Terry Tamminen, former secretary of the California Environmental Protection Agency.
Viridian: The green energy provider has appointed Joseph Waldman as its chief operating officer. Waldman has held executive positions with MXenergy and Gateway Energy Services Corporation.
Safetec: The chemical risk and compliance software company has named Kim Peterson as director of Environmental, Health and Safety. She spent ten years at director of environmental compliance for Graphical Packaging International.
Hara: The provider of environmental and energy management software has announced that Ray Lane will join its board of directors as chairman. Lane is managing partner of Hara investor Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and former president and COO of Oracle Corporation.
Optimum Energy: The HVAC analytics software company has appointed Mark Bretl as vice president of products and technology, in charge of the software development, engineering and product delivery teams. Bretl was vice president of Kinetic Books Company.
CloudBlue Technologies: The electronic disposal service provider named John Vega as its senior vice president of operations. Vega was director of operations at electronics manufacturing service company Flextronics International.
Jones Lang LaSalle: The real estate firm’s energy and sustainability services has appointed Nevin Sood as associate director and Chris Spicer as senior consultant. Both join from professional services provider Turner and Townsend.
