daktronicsxAudrey J. Walton Stadium, the sports facility of the University of Missouri, is getting a LED display from Daktronics. The low power display is 12 feet high and 20.5 feet wide. It features a 15HD pixel layout, wide angle visibility and environmental protection. There already are several Daktronics displays in the stadium. It will be installed at one end of the stadium.

The company also announced this week that it has inked a deal with the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) of New York City for 630 rail platform displays. The $3.2 million deal is the largest mass transit display contract in the company’s history. The multicolored LEDs will be an integral element of the MTA’s Public Address Customer Information System (PACIS). Installation will be completed by July, 2017, according to the company.
