Gershman, Brickner & Bratton and Stern Brothers & Co. have agreed to work together on waste-to-energy infrastructure and alternative energy projects, according to the website Renewable Energy from Waste. The story says that under the advisory agreement, GBB will support Stern’s execution of projects by providing consulting, industry research, project due diligence, financial analysis and other functions.
Commentary in the release says that the venture will make leverage the complementary experiences of the two companies. GBB will offer experience in solid waste management that will enable evaluation of technologies and operations, including alternative fuels. Stern, the story says, has 13 offices around the country.
Earlier this year, Science Alert reported that China is building the largest waste-to-energy plant in the world in Shenzhan. It will burn 5,000 tons of waste daily, the story said.
