Clean Air Tech Competition Seeks Pollution Treatment Providers

Air pollution treatment technology providers can apply for the Bluetech Award competition, which aims to improve China’s air quality.

The Clean Air Alliance of China, a nonprofit think-tank consisting of policymakers, researchers and business leaders, launched the Bluetech Award to help connect the best technologies around the world to where they’re needed the most.

Winners will be picked based on breakthrough potential in terms of environmental impact, technical performance and financial viability. The CAAC says winners will gain connections to local government, experts, enterprises and investors with demonstration and match-making opportunities.

The CAAC and Energy Foundation analyzed current clean air pilot cities to find the most pressing needs of today. The following four award categories were selected for this year’s competition:
