Absolute Steel, a government contractor of steel building materials, has redesigned their marketing campaign in an effort to highlight their green products.
In the past few years, the company has made a number of environmentally-friendly changes focusing on value and savings, such as using 67 percent recycled and 100 percent renewable materials and creating products from materials that don't require maintenance with toxins, like paint or pesticides.
"We’ve been so busy creating our system for customers looking for value that we’ve never focused on the environmental benefits that our system already offers," said founder and CEO, Dean Thomas.
Absolute Steel's "green structures" are used by all branches of the military and have been erected throughout North America. They are just one of the companies rethinking their marketing focus for 2009 as consumers focus on both money and the environment.
