An Oceana report finds that a mere 10-percentage point increase in the adoption of reusable beverage packaging by 2030 could eliminate 1 trillion single-use plastic bottles and cups from circulation.
“Our new bottles made with food-grade rPET are recyclable and can become another bottle giving it another life. Recycled PET is a big move in the right direction to embrace plastic circularity in India,” says Sanjeev Agarwal, chairman, Moon Beverages.
The fund will seek to invest in areas with the most potential impact, including packaging, heating and cooling, facility decarbonization, distribution and supply chain.
