The company has collected 76,645,000 million units, or 464,100 pounds, of used contact lenses, eye care and lens care materials in the United States as part of its ONE by ONE and Biotrue Eye Care Recycling programs.

This effort alone has eliminated approximately 900,000 pounds of plastic waste annually, the company says.
Moreover, customers can opt to contribute to the fund during flight bookings, with over $200,000 already raised from more than 60,000 United customers.
The focus on developing standalone systems, with the first batch comprising over 260 MW of capacity.
