The construction sector in Georgia will become more efficient and less expensive due to increased use of green technology, according to Agenda GE.
The country will implement energy efficiency measures until 2022 in old and new private and public structures. A meeting recently was held to discuss ways of incorporating European Union standards in Georgian building codes.
The Financial offers a feature on the work being done in eastern European and Asian countries by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The story says that the EBRD helped put 143 busses on the streets of the Georgian capital of Tbilisi. Plans for 2017, the story says, initially focus on cities in Georgia as well as Armenia, Moldova and the western Balkans.
