OpTerra Energy Services has introduced OpTerraADVANTAGE, an in-house financing platform.
The goal is to enable commercial, industrial and institutional customers to work around common financial obstacles to energy efficiency projects, the press release says. These can include strict return on investment (ROI) requirements, budget challenges and capital expenditure (capex) limits. The release says that the program is designed to increase cash flow, cut costs and enhance operational performance by “directly utilizing energy savings to fund their sustainability projects and cover up-front costs.”
The release says that participants in the program will lower monthly payments, increase savings and reduce risk associated with energy efficiency projects.
OpTerra Energy Services’ Commercial and Industrial Division in June said that it completed a project that will significantly reduce energy consumption at the City Crescent Building, an historic structure in Baltimore.
