EMEX Named TEPA Aggregator/Broker/Consultant of the Year

EMEX has been named 2016 Aggregator Broker/Consultant (ABC) of the Year by The Energy Professionals Association (TEPA) during the organization’s 11th Annual Conference on in Houston, the company announced on October 26. The award recognizes excellence in contract negotiations, customer service, and integrity.

The honor was bestowed at the conference by TEPA Northeast board members Javier Barrios and Kathy Kiernan. TEPA claims to be “the largest organization of its kind within the industry, with hundreds of energy professionals and retail energy suppliers attending the conference.”

EMEX acquired TEPA’s 2014 ABC of the Year recipient, Texas Energy Aggregation (TEA), on September 13 of this year. At that time, the company anticipated that the formation of Emex Consolidated partners (ECP) and its subsequent acquisition of all TEA assets would bring together two industry leading firms and advance EMEX’s mission of being the leader in energy supply consulting services for government and commercial entities.

EMEX planned tolsignificantly enhance its presence in the Texas retail energy market through the acquisition.
