CT’s Energy on the Line Program Deadline Extended

The Connecticut Green Bank is extending the deadline for applications for its Energy on the Line Program to November 4.

Under the program, the Green Bank provides supplemental funding to manufacturers who complete qualifying green projects using the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program. C-PACE, the press release says, provides commercial property owners with complete financing for green energy projects that reduce energy costs.

The funding – as much as $50,000 – may be used for any project-related expense. The program launched in April. The Connecticut Green Bank says that almost 60 companies have expressed interest in participating. It is an $800,000 program funded through the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development’s Manufacturing Innovation Fund.

Storm events – including Hurricane Sandy – has made Connecticut a leading microgrid state.
