Environmental Executive Moves: AECOM, Wells Fargo, WRI, CSR Europe, Green Sports Alliance

AECOM: The global infrastructure firm has appointed Dr. Todd Wright general manager and executive vice president of AECOM’s Nuclear & Environment Strategic Business Unit. Most recently, Wright served as AECOM executive vice president for operations for the Nuclear & Environment Strategic Business Unit.

Wells Fargo: The bank has expanded its team of clean technology bankers with the hire of Adam Bergman (pictured) as relationship manager at Wells Fargo CleanTech Group, Silicon Valley Business Journal reports. Bergman is a 12-year industry veteran.

Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative: The Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic states’ cap-and-trade program has appointed Andrew McKeon as executive director, effective July 25. McKeon previously served as director of operations for the environmental registry at Markit.

World Resources Institute: The research organization has hired Dr. Liz Goodwin as senior fellow and director, food loss and waste. Goodwin joins WRI after 15 years, including nine years as CEO, with the UK’s Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP).

CSR Europe: The European business network for corporate social responsibility has elected Hans Daems, group public affairs officer at Hitachi Europe, to the role of chair and Marina Migliorato, head of sustainability innovation & stakeholders engagement for Enel, to the post of vice-chair. The newly elected directors will serve for the coming three years until CSR Europe’s General Assembly in 2019.

Association for Professional Social Compliance Auditors: The audit-firm initiative, supported by global brands and retailers including WalMart, Disney, Coca-Cola and The Home Dept, has appointed Rona Starr as executive director. Starr spent 21 years with McDonald’s in various roles.

Green Sports Alliance: The nonprofit, whose members represent more than 370 sports teams and venues from 20 different sports leagues, announced its president, Allen Hershkowitz, has decided to retire from his formal role within the Alliance to extend his work internationally. Executive director and Alliance co-founder Justin Zeulner continues to run day-to-day operations.
