The Columbus Dispatch reports that Franklin County, OH, has made a $400,000 loan to the owners of PNC Plaza. The money will be used to make energy upgrades to the facility. The 24-story building in Columbus will have $3.3 million worth of work done on its roof, lighting, air controls and water supply, according to the story.

The story says that the building owners – Arthur Goldner & Associates – will repay the loan through an assessment on the property. The story says that the updates should save about $187,000 annual. The lion’s share of the money will be spent on the roof to repair leaks. Insulation will be installed a some areas replaced.
