DP&L’s New Invoices Display Retail Provider Logo

by | Oct 28, 2015

Dayton Power and Light (DP&L), an AEP subsidiary that serves over 515,000 electric customers in Ohio, released a redesigned bill on October 27. The revamped invoice is larger and easier to read, according to the utility – and prominently displays the logo of the individual ratepayer’s retail energy supplier at the top, left corner for complete transparency and better customer service.

Additionally, customers will find information to help them track their energy usage and help them save on energy costs. The new bill has a visual representation of kilowatt usage for current, previous, and last year-to-date billing cycles. There also is a Message Center at which DP&L can provide important energy efficiency tips or other information.

“Customers asked DP&L to provide them [with] an easy-to-read energy bill with detailed monthly information about their accounts. This redesigned bill allows them to see how they are using energy so they can make informed and smart decisions that fit their lifestyles,” said DP&L CEO Tom Raga.

To help customers understand all of the changes, DP&L has created video and posted it on the utility’s website.
