Environmental Executive Moves: CES, Advanced Emissions Solutions, Xeros, WorldGBC

CES Synergies: The environmental services company has appointed CES Synergies’ current president, John Tostanoski, the CEO, while the current CEO, Clyde A. Biston, will remain as chairman of board and chief visionary.

Advanced Emissions Solutions: The emissions reduction family of companies has appointed L. Heath Sampson (pictured) president and CEO. Former CEO Dr. Michael D. Durham will retire at the end of the month.

Tomra Sorting: The sensor-based sorting products manufacturer has appointed Stuart Tilney head of Tomra Sorting UK. Tilney joined the company, then Titech Limited, in May 2008 before moving to the role of UK Service Manager in 2011.

Xeros: The company that makes an ultra-low water laundry system has named Joe Bazzinotti general manager, North America. Stefan Meir also joins Xeros as national sales director. Most recently, Bazzinotti was a senior executive for Macresco. Meir comes to Xeros from Almo.

World Green Building Council: The global coalition of national green building councils has appointed Terri Wills CEO. Wills previously worked as director of global initiatives with the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group.

The Nature Conservancy: The conservation organization says Pascal Mittermaier, former head of sustainability, Europe and managing director for London’s Elephant and Castle Regeneration at Lend Lease, will join The Nature Conservancy as global managing director, cities.
