The commercial grade LED manufacturer Green Creative launched its new BR30 8W LED lamp.
Weighing less than 100g, the BR30 CLOUD is 60 percent lighter than the previous generation BR30. This dimmable lamp is one of the only BR30 65W replacements available that is suitable for use in totally enclosed fixtures, says the company. Its traditional incandescent form factor makes it an appropriate replacement for recessed, accent and general lighting applications.
The lamp uses 35 percent less material than its previous iteration and is also more energy efficient.
At 81 LPW, the lamp’s efficacy is more than 20 percent higher than the Tier 1 LED 65W replacement industry average and exceeds Energy Star requirements by upwards of 100 percent, according to Green Creative.
