The Q12 and Q10 blades are made of lightweight carbon fiber instead of aluminum and plastic commonly used in refrigeration systems. When installed in conjunction with the FridgeWize EC evaporator fan motor, the combination sets new industry standards in energy-efficiency, says the company.

In third-party testing and pilot programs with some fast-food chains and large-scale liquor stores, the FridgeWize Q12 and Q10 fan blades reduced EC motor energy consumption by up to 50 percent, resulting in 15 percent additional savings to the refrigeration component of a utility bill, according to FridgeWize.
