University of Kentucky Building to Save 42% in Energy

The University of Kentucky’s Marksbury building will achieve 42 percent energy savings compared to comparable buildings.

The building, which has a 42 kilowatt photovoltaic solar array and a white membrane on the roof, has applied for LEED certification.
