Beginning with its February ’08 issue, Dwell Magazine will transition to recycled content paper, use more soy-based inks and change the trim width from 9″ to 8.375″. The reformatting and change in paper will save about 930 trees
per issue.
“Moving to recycled paper is the key to our redesign but taking advantage of the fact that sustainability has always been something Dwell has focused on, we are moving that dialogue forward which is essential to our growth as a publication, ” said said Publisher and President Michela ‘Connor Abrams.
According to Publisher’s Information Bureau, Dwell’s ad pages were down four percent from July-September 2006 to the same period in 2007.
