Virgin Trains Launches Green Marketing Blitz

Virgin Trains this week kicks off a £3.5m marketing campaign to tell potential passengers that Pendolino trains are at least four times less polluting than cars or planes, Transport Briefing reports.

As part of the effort, the train operator has a new slogan: ‘go greener, go cheaper.’

TV advertising runs nationwide from this week, supported by press, radio, outdoor, online and direct marketing.
